Enjoy a peaceful outdoor holiday in this gîte on edge of forest with mountain views. Winter skiing and snowshoeing at Font d'Urle ski resort (30 min.). In summer hiking and cycling on the plateaus or through the gorges (La Bourne, Combe-Laval, etc.), for people of all ages and abilities. The Vercors is also of great historical interest - French Resistance Memorial, paddle boat, Water museum will appeal to the young and not so young. Food lovers will enjoy sampling Vercors trout and the famous 'ravioles' (local form of ravioli), after a 'vin de noix' (walnut wine) aperitif.
Old traditional Vercors house (alt. 1,100m), in open countryside 15 min. from Saint-Jean-en Royans, comprising 2 gîtes. Fully and tastefully renovated by Annabelle, the owner. Ground floor (accessed via a few stone steps): large living room (37 sq.m., wood pellet stove), open-plan kitchen area (window onto terrace with serving hatch), lounge & dining areas. 1st floor: 2 bedrooms (queen-size bed) (2 single beds), shower room (walk-in shower), WC. Large private terrace (not overlooked by other gîte).

Bel endroit mais des travaux
Le gite est très joli, bien décoré avec une très belle dependance contenant un jacuzzi. Il est également bien placé dans un coin tranquille, idéal pour aller faire des randonnées et l'accueil d'Annabelle ... Read more
Nous sommes désolés, effectivement il y a des travaux à côté du gîte, qui est mitoyen (comme annoncé sur l'annonce). Nous nous sommes excusés de ce désagrément, d'ailleurs le prix de location en tient compte, d'où son faible coût, malgré les prestations de haute qualité. Nous avons compensé du mieux que nous avons pu en offrant des compléments, comme le charbon pour le barbecue, les produits ménagers. Dommage, nous avons pourtant sympathisé et pensions que vous étiez compréhensible au vue de la situation.
