Live like a prince in this château, a magical setting in village of Lachau, and enjoy your stay in relaxing and attractive rural surroundings. Lachau is located between Montbrun-les-Bains and Sisteron, in south-east of the Drôme, close to Hautes-Alpes and Alpes-de-Haute-Provence departments. Surrounded by the gorgeous scenery of Les Baronnies Provençales Regional Nature park, not far from Riable mountains (ruins, medieval castle keep), Pied de Mulet (cave), church of Notre Dame de Calma (one of very few Romanesque buildings in Les Baronnies), Méouge gorges. Not forgetting hilltop villages, local markets, summer festivities, many hiking/riding trails. Ideal departure point for exploring these regions with so much to see and do: history, culture, sports.

16th century château at heart of village. Steeped in history, the château was sold and divided up into apartments affording unique accommodation. La Terrasse du Château is an unusual gîte, full of character with its uncluttered modern and practical interior. Apartment on 1st floor of château comprising the south tower (housing the kitchen). Living area with mezzanine (double bed, blackout curtains), bedroom (double bed), shower room/WC (walk-in shower). Garden, terrace, spacious rooms with high ceilings – this apartment offers ideal accommodation for hikers in Les Baronnies or those seeking peace, quiet and true relaxation.
