Beaufort-sur-Gervanne is a lovely peaceful village in the Drôme valley, 20 min. from Crest, Saillans and Omblèze. Cottage in quiet setting yet close to shops, you can walk around this village steeped in history. Lots to see and do for a wide range of interests. The river Drôme is a major centre for kayaking (and other rowing activities). The Clairette de Die (wine) tourist route will take you from Aouste-sur-Sye to Luc-en-Diois. In the Vercors Regional Nature park, the valley and its surroundings are perfect for outings (walking/hiking, cycling on roads, mountain biking, motor bike trips) and for keen climbers. Take a refreshing dip in the river below the village in summer, go mushroom gathering in autumn, in winter there is often snow. Small grocery shop, market, bakery and two restaurants mean that you can enjoy your stay without having to drive anywhere.
La Tonnelle de Côte Belle is a comfortable holiday cottage between mountain and river. A few steps to access, then you can enjoy lovely panoramic views of which you'll never tire. Light & airy living room opening onto terrace, small bedroom (double bed), shower room/WC. Private garden area in which to relax, recharge your batteries and enjoy the view. Owners' cat and nice little dog can keep you company. Pets allowed but the property is not fenced in!
